We are so bored of listening to people talk about chic, sophisticated, ladylike fashion. Whatever happened to experimenting with new ideas? These days it seems as though everyone is too scared of making a fashion faux pas to try anything a little different to their usual style, so why not try bringing back a little wardrobe revolution this new year?
Funky tights aren’t nearly as tricky as you first think to wear. Take Celeste Stein tights, for example. Yes, the patterns are completely out there and the colours aren’t exactly fading into the background, but if you pick out the key colours and coordinate (or even clash!) you can get a really great fashion forward look. Or if
you are really shy, just team them with a classic black dress and knee high boots for just a little flash of fun as you walk.
Loads of people also shy away from suspender tights, thinking the design is going to be a little too racy for them, but you don’t have to wear them like Rihanna. Make like our favourite hosiery crushes Little Mix and style yours with casual basics like denim shorts and Christmas jumpers or loose fitting t-shirts – they can even work for daytime!
Little Mix also love wearing Henry Holland tights, and they’re not the only ones. Barely a week goes by without some celeb being spotted in his designs, and his tights range for Pretty Polly showcases his design talent to perfection. Try his Reverse Star Tights with your favourite LBD, or else get colour pop perfect with the Houndstooth Tights which will look great with high waisted shorts and a
fitted denim shirt.
These are just a few of our ideas, but there are tons of stunning designs in our range of tights – so get creative and let us know how you style yours!

As the year end approaches, everyone is winding down and reflecting on the year just past – not least us. We’ve spent the week pondering our favourite (tights-related, naturally) moments of 2012…
Fashion is hardly ever easy – from agonising over whether this colour goes with that shade to the mournful morning you realise you just got too old for colour clashing, just working out a suitable palette to play with is difficult enough without then having to trawl through a style, length or

This week as been a contrary mix of weather. Snow, ice freezing fog and now rain to come. It’s so hard to know what to wear to keep warm. I’m not a jeans or trousers person and so I will always look for ways to increase the wearability of even my most flimsy dresses. My secret weapon is woollies but not the type you put on your arms, the kind you wear on your legs. Here at MyTights
