When we saw this picture of these Jonathan Aston Casino bondage tights that we supplied for a shoot in More magazine we knew immediately they were going to be HUGE news this season.  With Cheryl Cole and Jessie J spotted in similar styles not too long ago, they are the perfect accessory for the fetish trend this season.  They’re enough to make anyone feel an urge to get to the gym IMMEDIATELY (yes, even us) – but the good news is they are a really simple and inexpensive way to update your wardrobe.  To stop us from thinking about when the last time we went to the gym actually was (c.2007) we’ve rounded up the top three ways to do bondage tights…

1)      Rock Chick – The key to this grunge luxe look is black, black, black.  Team short black skirts with leather jackets and baggy t-shirts, and finish with clunky biker boots and mussed up hair to stop it from looking too ‘done’.

2)      Chic Casual – Proving that the fetish trend can work for daytime, layer shorts over the tights and top with slouchy jumpers or plain white t-shirts and chunky knit cardigans.  Flat boots are a must, and to make the look even more relaxed pile your hair up into a messy high bun.

3)      Fetish on Fetish – This look takes a very brave fashionista indeed, but when it works it looks IN-CREDIBLE.  Team the tights with leather and finish with leopard print accessories.  We’ve seen a few leather dresses on the high street recently – if you go for a slightly longer hemline than usual and keep the cut and shape of it simple and clean you will keep the look glamorous, not trashy.

The bondage tights pictured are from Jonathan Aston, but the new collections from Oroblu and Trasparenze also have some great fetish-inspired pieces.  Happy shopping!  We’re off to the gym.  No, really…
