Just like waiting for a bus, we’ve been waiting days to spot another fabulous celebrity hosiery look, and then three come along at once! From other sides of the globe and all choosing to wear hosiery in their own individual way, we bring you a round-up of celebrity looks, and how YOU can recreate them at the drop of a hat.

Oroblu Lysette Overknees

Beginning with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, the 24 year old isn’t always known for her fashion choices, but that all changed this week when we laid eyes on these images, shot for a 100th birthday special of iconic underwear label Bonds. While we may not opt for an outfit quite so risqué, we fell hook, line and sinker for her grey over the knee socks. Boasting a classic ribbed design and with extra-wide black tops for a chic contrast, we think they look great with her heeled biker boots. What do you think? If you love her look as much as us, treat yourself to the Oroblu Lysette Over Knees, with the same ribbed finish and wide band. Or if you want to copy her look down to the colour, check out the Trasparenze Dora Wool Rib Over Knee Socks in Asfalto!

Charlotte Crosby

Pamela Mann Sweeties Leggings

From an internationally acclaimed rapper to everyones favourite George Shore hellraiser, we spotted Celebrity Big Brother winner Charlotte Crosby on the streets of London in a funky pair of patterned leggings. We love fashion leggings at MyTights – there really is nothing better for brightening up your basic pieces. Charlotte clearly agrees, teaming her marvel inspired leggings with an oversized jumper and white trainers. To get your hands on a similarly fun look, check out the Pamela Mann Fleur de Lis Leggings, covered in the fleur de lis prints for a regal feel. Or take things back to your childhood with the Pamela Mann Sweeties Leggings, covered in an assortment of retro sweets that you can enjoy without having to worry about your figure.

Last but not least, we simply had to comment on this adorable look from Tallulah Willis. Having been raised by Demi Moore, the 21 year old was always going to know a thing or two about looking good, and this ensemble more than caught our eye. Bridging the gap between a dressed down vibe and statement appeal, she tucked a denim shirt with a suede skater skirt, finishing the look with sheer black tights and sparkly ankle socks. A stellar performance if we say so herself, recreate the look with the Aristoc Ultra Shine 10D Tights and the Jonathan Aston Luminosity Socks, a combination that’s bound to make you a style star. Or if ankle socks aren’t for you, layer the Pretty Polly Sparkle Rib Over The Knee Socks over your sheers for a similar shimmer.

We can’t keep up – it’s a hosiery takeover. Keep checking back for more celebrity looks soon!

Retro Perfection: Emma Roberts in Knee Highs

Emma Roberts rocking 70's chic!

Oroblu Parisienne Knee Highs

Oroblu Parisienne Knee Highs

Being the niece of Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts was always destined for big things. Emerging in recent years as one of the brightest young stars in Hollywood, it appears like the 24 year old actress knows a thing or two about style, too. Being papped this week on set of her new television series Scream Queens, Emma looked fabulous in a retro inspired outfit, comprising a faux fur jacket, white blouse, dogtooth skirt and gorgeous blush pink knee high socks. Sure, she has the wardrobe department to thank for her old school look, but Roberts pulled it off with panache.

Now, of course most of our attention focused on her socks, and what a pair they are! Finishing just below the knee and coming with a fashion-forward ribbed design, they added a sweet, flirty appeal to her look and made her look as if she was straight out of the 1970’s (and we mean that in a good way!)

What do you think about her socks? If you like them as much as us, the good news is that it couldn’t be easier to follow in Emma’s star studded footsteps. Here’s how you can recreate her look…

1) Perhaps the closest way to rival Emma’s look would be with the Oroblu Parisienne Knee Highs. Also coming with a chic ribbed design, these opaque socks come in both black and a deep burgundy shade, proving the perfect accessory to retro swing dresses and 70’s patterns. Emma Roberts who?!

2) If the blush pink shade of Emma’s socks appealed to you, opt for the Trasparenze Cinzia Knee High Socks in Rosa. A gorgeous soft pink colour, these 70 denier socks are actually available in 18 additional colours. Something to match every look, stocking up on these wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world…

Charnos Chevron & Diamond Knee Highs

3) Retro fashion is all about jazzy patterns, and that’s exactly what you’ll get with the Charnos Chevron & Diamond Knee Highs (2pp). Two pairs of sheer knee high socks, with one boasting a 70’s-esque chevron design and the other a stylish diamond; the hardest part will be choosing which pair to wear!

4) Take a walk on the wild side in the gorgeous Pretty Polly Animal & Stripe Knee Highs. What you’ll get here is one pair of sheer knee highs in a classic stripe and the other boasting a retro animal print. Great with flirty hemlines!

We look forward to the series if this style is anything to go by!

Socks, socks and even more socks!

Our ankles crave them and our outfits need them. No longer are they afterthoughts on chilly mornings, socks are a necessity this A/W, helping us pick up fashion points here there and everywhere.

From colour pop knee highs to cosy over the knee socks, we can account for every occasion.  With London Fashion Week only a few weeks ago, and the party season just round the corner, now is the time to get sock savvy with a little help from us.

Now, starting with patterns…

Perhaps a little backlash from last season’s loud and brash prints, traditional patterns are having a moment this A/W. Heritage seems to be the buzzword with gorgeous Argyle knee highs and warm ribbed socks favoured by

editors and stylists alike.

Glamour shows us how elegant an over the knee sock can be with a beautiful Argyle print.

Now the designer socks featured are not exactly purse friendly, so here at MyTights we have found a cheaper but just as classic alternative. The Pamela Mann Argyle Over Knee socks are a modern take on the timeless pattern with a high cotton content to keep your legs happy throughout the day. The guilt free price tag only makes it easier to invest in both gorgeous colours.

As for the colour code this season…

Colour pops and colour blocking is big this season, and one of the easiest ways to get involved is through your tights and socks. Choose the right shade and it can take you from day to night effortlessly. ELLE reveals how simple it can be with our coloured socks. The length is completely up to you, but however high (or low) you go, make sure your colour stands out.

Wear the Transparenze Monique Ankle Socks in the Arancio shade for tangerine clad ankles, or go for a subtler Rosa Antico colour for a romantic feel.

If you’re after a bit more coverage, choose the Cinzia Knee Highs from Transparenze. The purple Prugna, plummy Melanza or forest green Olivia are all colours of the moment and worn under knee length skirts or black shift dresses, they are the quickest way to inject colour into your day.

Graced with lace…

Although the temperatures may be dipping, fishnet and lace anklets are still as popular as ever. With a feminine charm and allure by the bucket loads, we can see why. Following on from his show at LFW, the Mark Fast anklets are set to be a success this season. Chose from with the Fast at Jonathan Aston Honeycomb or Scramble anklet for socks with a twist, appropriate foot attire for a glamorous evening out.

Build your sock collection now to ensure that when the temperatures plummets, your ankles won’t be left behind!
