Here at MyTights.com, we love nothing more than getting into character for a fancy dress bash! When it comes to fancy dress, we’re of the opinion that if you’re going to do it, do it right, which is why we loved these photos of the cast of TOWIE at their Mad Hatters themed party. Still going strong after 14 series filled with drama, romance and the infamous ‘SHUTUUUUP’, what we loved most about the fancy dress efforts was the amount of hosiery in sight!
Not least by TOWIE’s very own fashionista Lydia Bright, who completed her Alice in Wonderland attire with a fittingly sweet pair of white ankle socks. She may have been in fancy dress, but we heart her cute socks, and it’s a look we know we’ll be wearing with our summer hemlines when the weather heats up a bit. For a similarly sweet look, take a look at the Jonathan Aston Pretty Petal Socks, with an embossed floral print and pretty scalloped tops. Or if it’s something a little quirkier you’re after, opt for the Trasparenze Sommerfugl Socks, with their ever so playful mix of spots and bows.
Moving on now to Fran Parman, again opting for ankle socks to complete her fairy tale look. If you’ve fallen for her baby blue look, recreate it with the Trasparenze Monique Ankle Socks in Cielo! Perfect with summery dresses and skater skirts, it’s the ideal way to add something new to your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
It wasn’t only socks on show, either, with Jasmin Walia opting for a pair of vampy fishnets to finish off her edgy Queen of Hearts look. If you’re finding yourself drawn to her choice of legwear, why not copy it with the Pamela Mann Fishnet Tights, making for a great alternative to your sheers and coming in 10 vibrant colours.
Essex isn’t always known for its style, but the TOWIE cast sure know a thing or two about chic hosiery!
We knew the new Cette Madison Tights were fabulous as soon as we heard about them and this was confirmed when the Daily Mail website went crazy for them too. Now it seems as though the whole world has fallen in love with them as they were featured this morning on… This Morning.

Fans of “Structured Reality” shows are all too aware of the growing rivalry between TOWIE and Made in Chelsea. Both shows have exploded onto the scene, and whether you avidly watched Mark Wright conquer the jungle in last year’s I’m A Celeb or find yourself keeping tabs on the Millie Mackintosh/Professor Green romance, there’s no denying some of the girls from both shows have real style. And some don’t. We decided to fan the flames of rivalry by comparing some of their hosiery fashion choices…
Fashion tights can be daunting if you’re not sure how to wear them but both Made in Chelsea’s Chloe Green and Towie’s Jess Wright pulled off the look with ease. For a girly style, go for embellished tights like Jess, but we LOVE Chloe’s animal print tights, LBD and leather jacket combo that she was spotted in walking around London recently.
Winner: Made in Chelsea
Caggie Dunlop sadly said goodby to MIC last series, but not before she showed us how to rock buy cheap generic levitra
_medium=blog” target=”_blank”>suspender tights for a casual daytime look. Dressing her hosiery down with baggy washed out denim and a chunky knit scarf was inspired. However, Towie’s Maris Fowler made jaws drop when she stepped out in a chic, understated combo of suspender tights, beige cocktail shorts and a simple black vest top. Who knew?
Why do some girls find footless tights and leggings so difficult buy 25mg viagra to wear? The rules are simple – ALWAYS team with a long top, tunic or dress unless you are 100% confident about your body from every angle, and wet look leggings must not be accompanied by leather. These rules seem to have bypassed the world of reality TV, though – Lauren Goodger stepped out in a supremely unflattering leggings and vest top outfit, while MIC’s Gabriella teamed her wet look leggings with black leather, black boots and, for some reason known only by her, rainbow coloured hair (See the pic here).
Winner: Neither – both looks are equally bad.
