Q Help - where can I find extra large & long tights please?

Q I am 5' 5" tall and have 50" hips! If I order one-size tights they do not go around hips. If I put on large size ones they bag around my ankles, Nora Batty style. What tights should fit me?
A Try a product that is designed for your shape rather than a large size which may be too long. The products available at MyTights.com that I would particularly recommend are:
• Levante Extra Tights in size 1 (designed for hips 47"-54" - these are also available in a larger size) - these are one of our best selling products and are now available in five different colours.

A Yes, make sure you choose a product with a sandal or sheer toe (this is noted by every product) as we have tested all of these products to ensure you really can wear them with strappy sandals.
Q Please explain the meaning of "Sandal Toe" in Pantyhose/Tights.
A Generally in the UK the term sandal toe is used for products that can be worn with open toed shoes (ie sandals) and there is no visible ugly reinforcement around the toe. Hosiery with sandal toes do normally have some extra strength around the toe area, but it is not visible. The term sheer toe is used when there is no difference whatsoever between the construction of the toe area and the rest of the pair of tights/hold ups.
